Pickr runs anonymous choice studies. You make choices; we publish what the group chose. This page explains exactly what we collect and how it’s used.
Who can take part
You must be 18 or older. By starting a study you confirm you are an adult and agree to these terms.
What we collect
- The sex and age range you select.
- Your ratings and choices in the study, and how long each one took.
- A random ID stored in your browser so each device takes a study once.
- Basic device details (screen size, browser type) and which ad or link brought you here.
- A one-way scrambled version of your IP address, used only to spot duplicate or automated responses. We don’t store your IP address itself.
What we don’t collect
No name, email, phone number, account, or login. We don’t ask for anything that identifies you, and we don’t try to find out who you are.
How it’s used
- To show you your own results and how they compare to others.
- To publish combined results — for example, “62% of men chose B.” Individual answers are never published.
- To check data quality, such as removing rushed or duplicate responses.
Sharing
We don’t sell individual responses. We may share or license combined, anonymous results (percentages and totals) with media or research partners.
The people in the photos
Every person shown is an AI-generated image of someone who doesn’t exist. The facts on each card (income, kids, body count) are made up for the study and describe no real person.
Storage
Responses are stored on our servers in the United States and kept as long as they’re useful for the research. Because responses aren’t linked to your identity, we generally can’t locate or delete one specific person’s answers.
Terms of use
The studies and results are for entertainment and research. Results describe what people who took the study chose, not what everyone believes. Don’t submit automated or fake responses. We may change or end a study at any time.
