What we collect.

The whole list

• Google Analytics. Every page on this site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HY46JBE28D). It sets cookies and tells us which articles people read, roughly where in the world they are, and how they arrived. We use it to decide what to write next. It is the only tracking on this site.
• Server logs. Our host records standard request data, including IP address and browser type, to keep the site up and secure. We do not mine it.
• Email, if you send one. If you write to hello@pickrmedia.com we keep the message so we can reply and, where you have told us something is wrong, so we have a record of the correction.

What we do not do

• No accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no mailing list.
• No forms. We do not ask you for your name, your email or your business.
• No payments. There is nothing for sale here, so no card details ever reach us.
• No advertising trackers, no retargeting pixels, no ad network, no data brokers.
• We do not sell, rent or share your information. There is no commercial arrangement under which we could.

Turning the analytics off

Blocking cookies for this site in your browser stops Google Analytics. So does Google’s own opt-out browser add-on, or any standard content blocker. Nothing on Pickr breaks if you do — every article works identically with analytics blocked, because there is nothing here that depends on knowing who you are.

Businesses we write about

Our articles are about companies, not private individuals. Everything we publish about a business comes from what that business or an official register has already made public — its own website, a licensing body, a public rating. We cite the source and the date we read it on every claim. We do not publish private information about the people who work at these companies, and we do not name staff.

Links out

We link to the sources we used so you can check them. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site under their privacy policy, not ours.

Your choices

Email hello@pickrmedia.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local privacy law; tell us and we will honour them. There is no list to unsubscribe from, because there is no list.

Children

This site is written for adults making purchasing decisions. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything about them. Some articles cover age-restricted products and are intended only for readers old enough to buy them lawfully where they live.

Changes

If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. If it ever changes materially — if we start collecting something genuinely new — we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing a line.
