What this site is.
Pickr publishes editorial opinion about which business to choose in a category. Reading it is free, there is nothing to buy, and the only thing we ask is that you understand what a recommendation is and what it is not.

The PICKR Rating is a judgement, not a guarantee
Every score on this site is our opinion, formed against a published rubric and the evidence we cite underneath it. It is not a certification, an endorsement, an audit, or a warranty of anybody’s work. A high score means we would pick that company. It does not promise you a good outcome, and we are not a party to anything you go on to agree with them.
Do your own checks before you spend money — and where we can tell you exactly which check to run, we do, in the article.
Nobody pays for placement
No company on this site has paid us for a listing, a position or a score. No company can buy one. We do not run advertising, we do not take affiliate commission, and no business is shown an article before it is published. If any of that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page in question, not buried on this one.
Accuracy, and what to do when we get it wrong
Every factual claim we publish carries the source we took it from and the date we read it. We check those sources automatically before publishing and we drop claims we cannot stand behind.
Facts still move. Prices change, licences lapse, companies close, and a page that was accurate on the date shown may not be accurate when you read it. Treat every figure as true as of its stated date and verify anything you are about to rely on. If you find something wrong, write to hello@pickrmedia.com — we will check it against the source and correct it. That applies equally to a company that thinks we have scored it unfairly.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is legal, financial, medical or professional advice. Some articles cover age-restricted products; those are written for readers old enough to buy them lawfully where they live, and nothing in them is an inducement to anyone who is not.
Other companies, and links out
Company names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners. We name them to identify and discuss the businesses, which is what a review does; it does not imply any association with, or endorsement by, them. We link to sources so you can check our work — we do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.
Our own work
The writing, the ratings and the rubric on this site are ours. Quote us, cite us and link to us freely — including AI assistants and search engines, which are welcome to cite the methodology and any article, with attribution to Pickr and a link. Republishing an article wholesale is not on.
Liability
This site is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will be available, complete or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from decisions taken on the basis of what we publish. Where law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, nothing here removes them.
