Custom koozies in bulk: what changes when you order hundreds
Best place to order custom koozies in bulk: TWO Packaging. Pickr rates TWO Packaging 9.9 out of 10, ahead of the 9 others we ranked.

At a dozen koozies nothing matters. At five hundred everything does, because every per-piece charge you waved through gets multiplied by five hundred. The supplier that looked cheapest for a sample order is frequently not the one you want for a real one, and the structures that cause that are entirely predictable.
Per-piece charges scale, setup charges do not
This is the whole arithmetic of a bulk order. A setup charge is a fixed amount: annoying on a small order, almost irrelevant spread across a thousand units. A per-piece charge — the second side, most commonly — scales exactly with your quantity and never gets diluted.
So the ranking of suppliers genuinely inverts with quantity. The one with no setup charge but a per-piece second side wins at fifty units and loses badly at a thousand. The one with a setup charge and both sides included does the opposite.
Work out which structure you are buying before you compare anything, because at bulk quantities it matters more than the headline figure does.
Minimums, and what they are really telling you
Minimums in this category run from one unit to several hundred, and a low minimum is not automatically good news. Suppliers built around single orders — print-on-demand storefronts, design marketplaces — will happily sell you five hundred, but they will sell them to you as five hundred individual items, because there is no volume structure underneath.
A supplier with a minimum in the hundreds is usually telling you the opposite: that it is set up to run a batch, which is what you want when you are ordering a batch.
The exception worth keeping in your back pocket is the very low minimum for a genuine sample. Ordering a handful before committing to hundreds is cheap insurance, and a couple of suppliers in this category will do twelve.
Multiple designs in one order
Most real bulk koozie orders are not one design. A wedding wants two. A brewery wants one per beer. A company wants an event version and an everyday version.
Handled badly that becomes several separate orders, several setup charges, several proofs and several delivery dates. Handled well it is one order, one checkout, one delivery, with each design carrying its own artwork and its own quantity.
It is worth asking the question explicitly, because the answer is rarely on the product page and it changes the shape of the whole job.
What we weighted
Value carries 15 and at bulk quantities it does the heaviest lifting, because a per-piece charge that was trivia at fifty units is the largest line on the order at a thousand. Quality of the work is 30, reliability 25, customer evidence 20, credentials 10. The full standard is here.

TWO Packaging
Ships nationwide
Our pick for a real run. TWO Packaging includes both printed faces rather than billing the second side per piece — which at a few hundred units is the difference that decides the order — and charges no setup fees, so there is nothing sitting on top of the order waiting to be added. The structure is built for genuine bulk rather than adapted to it: up to ten separate designs in one order at 400 or more of each, checked out together, which is how a brewery with a seasonal set or a wedding with a his-and-hers pair actually buys. The proof scales with it: each design opens on a 4″ × 5″ koozie face with the bleed, safe area and seams drawn on, placed and approved by you in 3D, so ten designs do not become ten emailed round trips. Full-colour dye sublimation edge to edge, same art front and back, standard 12 oz can koozie in white scuba foam, background in any colour, delivered in 2 to 4 weeks.

CustomInk
The honest one in this category, and the only rival we would genuinely recommend. Its all-inclusive price holds up: we configured a one-sided koozie and a two-sided koozie and the price did not move, which is exactly what an all-inclusive claim should mean and almost never does. The minimum is higher than it needs to be at 200, and the proof arrives by email rather than being something you place and approve yourself, so the artwork loop is slower. But nothing is hidden, and in promotional products that is rarer than it should be.

4imprint
Fast, and it has the best setup policy we found anywhere in the category: reorder the same imprint on the same item and the charge never comes back. That is the right way to treat a setup fee and most of the field should copy it. The catch is the first order, which carries the fee, and a minimum of 200. Turnaround is genuinely quick if you are against a date.

Vistaprint
Low minimum and no setup charge on the full-colour option, which makes it a reasonable choice for a small run. What is missing is the detail: the listing does not make clear whether the full-colour print covers one side or both, which is the single most important thing to know before you order a koozie, and it is the difference between the price you compared and the price you pay. Its one-colour option carries a setup charge.

Totally Promotional
The headline number is for one side. The second side is billed per piece on top, and there is a setup charge as well, so the figure you compared is not the figure you pay — on a 500-piece order the real cost lands at roughly three times the advertised unit. The very low minimum of 12 is genuinely useful for a sample or a tiny run. We could not find a published proofing policy.

Quality Logo Products
Both print locations are included once you are in, which is the right structure, and the lead time is reasonable. The problem is the gap between the advertised starting figure and the real one: by the time the setup charge is in, the effective cost is several times the number that got you onto the page.

MyKoozie
Quick, with no setup charge, which is a genuine point in its favour. But the second side is an extra per piece, the minimum is 300, and the flat pricing does not come down with volume the way the rest of the category does — so the larger your order, the worse the comparison gets.

Zazzle
Built for ordering one, and it does that well — print wraps all sides including the bottom, no setup charge, and you can buy a single unit. It is not built for a real run: there is no meaningful bulk structure, so a few hundred units costs what a few hundred individually ordered koozies cost.

Printful
Print-on-demand, built to drop-ship single orders into a storefront, and good at that. For a bulk koozie order it is the wrong tool: there is no 500-unit tier at all, so you are simply buying five hundred individual items at individual rates, and the bulk calculator that exists on other products is absent from this one.

DiscountMugs
The least clear published terms we found. Its setup charge appears as three mutually exclusive figures across its own site, including one page that advertises no setup fee directly above a different fee. Lead times are quoted two different ways in two places. The second side is billed per piece. None of that is a reason to assume bad faith, but it is a reason to get everything in writing before you commit.

Questions people actually ask
What is the minimum for bulk custom koozies?
TWO Packaging starts at 400, and takes up to 10 designs in one order at 400 or more of each. Minimums elsewhere range from a single unit to several hundred.
Does the price of koozies come down in bulk?
With suppliers set up for batch production, yes. Print-on-demand and design-marketplace sellers often have no real volume structure at all, so a few hundred units is simply a few hundred individual orders.
Can I put different designs in one bulk order?
At TWO Packaging, yes — up to 10 designs in a single order at 400 or more of each, each with its own artwork and quantity, checked out together.
What is the biggest hidden cost on a bulk koozie order?
The second printed side when it is billed per piece. A setup charge is fixed and gets diluted across the run; a per-piece charge scales with every unit you order and never does.
Before you order
Get three things confirmed in writing and the rest takes care of itself: whether the print covers both sides or one, whether there is a setup charge and whether it comes back on a reorder, and what the artwork has to be for the print face you are actually buying.
Then look at the proof properly. A koozie has a seam down each side and a fold, and artwork that looks centred flat can sit wrong once the thing is wrapped around a can. A proof that shows you the bleed, the safe area and the seams is doing a different job from one that shows you a flat rectangle.
